Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving a black mark on Ladd's records as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills took down McGill, and she was able to end her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for a TKO win in the second round. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger in the first round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant capacity. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. For a replacement last minute to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
