Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. Her birth date was the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically in her early years and entered second grade at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she earned her diploma in 1975. She also competed in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to take on a modeling job after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe with the modelling industry, and decided to venture to acting. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories", which was a mix-review movie in the age of twenty.
