COLUMBIA (S.C.) - As part of the investigation into the shooting death Terrell Sims the man charged as an accomplice following the actuality of his murder. Columbia Police Department officers were looking for Sims who had gone missing since Christmas. They also arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with the death of his friend. Eddie Brown, 30, is charged with being an accomplice in the murder in the death of Taylor Wardlaw by Columbia Police Department, officials declare. Sims 26, a 26-year-old male, was last seen in Columbia in the early morning of Dec. 20, at Ervin Street. According to police, Sims' girlfriend Wardlaw reported him missing Dec. 22. A body was discovered in a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford has confirmed that the corpse was the property of Sims. Skip Holbrook from Columbia Police reports that Wardlaw was charged with the murder of Sims as well as possessing a weapon during a violent offense. Police say Sims was killed multiple times.
