Stevie Wonder

Stevie WonderStevland Morris (ne Judkins, May 13, 1950) also known as Stevie Wonder is an American singer-songwriter from the United States. It is said that he is acknowledged as pioneers in a range of genres, including blues and rhythm as well as gospel, jazz soul, gospel and funk. A virtual one-man band Wonder's use for synthesizers and other electronic musical instruments during the 1970s changed the rules of R&B. He also helped push these genres into the album era, crafting his LPs as coherent and consistent and also incorporating expressive and socially conscious compositions. Blind from the time of his birth, Wonder was a child prodigy who signed on with Motown's Tamla label at 11 years old, which was the time he received the professional title Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical success was at its peak during the 1970s. The band's "classic" period started in 1972 with Music of My Mind and Talking Book. The latter included "Superstition" as the most iconic and well-known example of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard sound. He was awarded the Grammy Award as Album of the year for Innervisions (1973), Fulfillingnessthe First Finale (1974) as well as Songs in the Key of Life ( 1976). This makes him the holder of the tie record of the most Album of the year awards with three. Wonder is the only artist to have won the award three times in succession for his albums. Wonder was a "commercial artist" when he began to have his greatest hits in the early 1980s. His popularity grew with the increase in albums sales, charity involvement, and high-profile collaborations.
